GULFPORT

MISSISSIPPI

Experience Life On The South Coast

In support of our national security research partnership with the University of Southern Mississippi (USM), our office is proudly situated within the beautiful Roger F. Wicker Center for Ocean Enterprise facility supported by a pipeline of USM graduates and our Mississippi-based scientists, engineers, and staff. The location offers an exceptional opportunity for close collaboration with USM faculty and students.

Nestled along the waterfront of USM’s coastal campus, the office is the second of our new Gulf Coast region locations, joining our Baton Rouge office at LSU’s flagship campus. Plus, in your free time there is no shortage of activities to enjoy in the region that offers both serenity of nature and the convenience of urban life.

Career Opportunities and Economic Growth

A vibrant job market

Gulfport is home to a variety of industries, including shipping, healthcare research, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and technology, and future job growth over the next 10 years is predicted to be 27 percent. It’s located close to the Port of Gulfport, one of the largest ports in the U.S., and the city’s economic development initiatives make it a prime location for entrepreneurs.

Gulfport is part of the recently started Gulf Blue Initiative to build, grow, and sustain industries and infrastructure around our marine resources.
